The Year 11 Drama students completed their Component 2 exam this term with much success.

They performed to a live audience of parents, teachers and the Year 10 Drama students on Monday 19th February. Their exam pieces were performed to a visiting examiner on the following day and the department is incredibly pleased with their efforts.

This was a ‘performance from text’ exam, with students exploring a range of modern texts in the style of ‘Realism’. The students explored The Memory of Water by Shelagh Stephenson, Honour by Joanna Murray-Smith, That Face by Polly Stenham and My Mother Said I Never Should by Charlotte Keatley.

The students were very pleased to have completed the exam successfully. The Drama Department will now begin preparations for the students final exam in the summer and hope they have the same success then.
