On 6th November, all Year 10 Students took part in Aspiration visits to four prestigious universities outside of London including Brunel University, Canterbury Christ Church University, University of Hertfordshire and University of Reading. Being campus based universities, it gave students a chance to see what life and study is like on a day-to-day setting in Higher Education.

Each university offered a programme on the day that was tailored to help students learn a variety of interesting facts about university education and campus life and break down the barriers of progression towards university study.

Students who visited Canterbury Christ Church University took part in a Dynamic Dialogue workshop with Ambassadors where they heard first-hand what it is really like to study after school and college.

Students who visited Brunel got the opportunity to see one of the largest and most technologically advanced Sports Halls in the country where Usain Bolt has regularly trained. University staff were impressed with Park View students, with one member of staff saying, “They were so polite and really got stuck into the presentation workshop that we delivered for them”.
