This site offers parents & carers a wealth of up to date information and advice to help their child with career ideas, understanding qualifications, options including apprenticeships, how to help your child make decisions and understand the options, SEND advice, finance and money matters.

This site has a section for Parents & Carers and is also useful for students 14 +.  This site has language translation as well with a large selection of languages making it accessible for those with English as second language.

This site is an all age site for adults and young people.  It has very useful information, career ideas development, routes into, self awareness, CV building and other career related tools.  Labour market information (where there are job opportunities, growing industries, and new industries). Next step advice with links to other useful web sites and a help line you where you can speak with Careers Advisers.

This is the National Apprenticeships government website where you will find out about apprenticeships in detail and young people can register to look for opportunities.

Haringey 100 is a Haringey website that is a successful initiative which encourages businesses and organisations from across London to pledge employment for the borough’s residents that will help them learn new skills and get onto the jobs ladder.

This is the website for CONEL – College of Haringey, Enfield & North East London which offers post 16 courses (vocational work related qualifications and A Level academic subjects) and Apprenticeships.  They have an interesting calculator that gives job opportunities and rates of pay information on their course finder page.

This website is for Haringey 6th Form Centre offering post 16 courses (vocational work related qualifications and A Level academic subjects).

This website holds lots of videos on different career areas explaining the routes into these areas.  It also has a buzz quiz that is easy to do and gives career ideas and if young people need help to develop their ideas.  This can be a good website for parents & carers to find out up to date labour market information – job opportunities and routes into them.
