This Year, Park View celebrated Science Week during March 9th - 12th, with a real focus on creating breathtaking and astonishing experiences that wouldn't otherwise happen during a normal science lesson.
Our science teachers created and led lunchtime sessions to really capture and thrill the minds of our students.
Workshops included exploring the inner workings of fish gills through dissections, mammalian heart dissections, discovering electromagnetism through building an electric motor, using microscopes and making slime. We even looked at the life cycle of chicks hatching within our very own science faculty!
Our students were joined by West Green Primary School students who all thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The primary school students where excited to be a part of our inspiring workshops and most certainly left a lasting impression of how science is taught and celebrated at our school.
Well done to our amazing science teachers for their hard work, creativity and dedication to bring science to life for our students on Science Week!
