Primary Transition

Park View School work with Primary schools within the borough of Haringey and wider community, to help prepare students for the transition to secondary education. We believe this is of great importance to ensure a smooth transition for the students.

We offer a range of opportunities for Year 4, 5 and 6 students throughout the academic year, including:

• Open Mornings where students and parents/carers can see the school in operation
• Open Evening where students and parents/carers can tour the school and meet the staff and students, visit departments and find out more about the subjects available.
• Curriculum taster day to ensure students feel comfortable with the surroundings and gain an insight into secondary education.
• Year 6 Summer School which takes place during the summer holidays for one week. This provides the students with the opportunity to meet new friends, explore their new school working environment as well as improving confidence.
