Our Head of Mathematics has been leading the development of Mixed Attainment Mathematics teaching at Park View for the last four years. By September 2022, all Mathematics classes, including years 10 and 11, will be taught in fully mixed attainment classes. We expect all our pupils to make outstanding progress, regardless of prior attainment. We are seeking a Second in Charge of Mathematics to support the associated pedagogic and curriculum challenges, and to maintain our focus on the progress and outcomes of all pupils.

The successful candidate will be adaptable and highly ambitious, setting challenging goals for themselves, the department and all our pupils. Experience of mixed attainment teaching in Mathematics is not a requirement, but a commitment to meet the needs of all our diverse learners in a dynamic mixed attainment environment is essential.
