The NEU teaching union has declared more national strike action, which will take place on 27th April and 2nd May 2023.  

These strikes are happening because of an ongoing national dispute between unions and the government over school funding levels and the terms and conditions of service for teachers and support staff.  

Most teachers and support staff at Park View are NEU members, so we recommend that you begin making alternative childcare arrangements for these dates as Park View is highly likely to be closed to pupils.  

Year 7 Parents’ Evening which was scheduled for 2nd May, will also have to be postponed. We will let you know the new date early next week.  

We are sorry about the disruption to you and to your child’s education. We understand that this situation may be frustrating, but unfortunately, it is out of Park View’s control.
